Finger Painting

srpski latinica | српски ћирилица

Miraculous finger play. Retired engineer Stevan Aničić has unique way of painting aquarels. Instead of brushes he uses tip of the middle finger of his right hand. This self-taught painter says that this specific style of painting allows you to discover new possibilities and techniques every day. A lot depends on the paper quality-its thickness and surface smoothness. Appearance and precision of lines largely depend on the finger nail.
Motive of Stevan’s paintings are mostly flowers, but he paints sea-shells, snails, corn, birds,tree-stumps, etc. Unique aquarels of this author are mostly in the form of greeting cards and of 10x15cm size. However, they come as small pocket size paintings and paintings of paper format A4 as well.
